The University of Ulster
The University of Ulster is the largest academic institution on the island of Ireland. It is located at four campuses across Northern Ireland, with the largest being the Jordanstown campus, on the shore of Belfast Lough and about 7 miles from the capital city. The institution is highly regarded for its sports degrees, research and facilities, and is also home to the Ulster Sports Academy, and the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland, the regions elite athlete development body. Sports facilities on the campus include a strength and conditioning gym, a sports science laboratory, a sports medicine area, indoor and outdoor athletics tracks, and an indoor synthetic grass sports pitch.
The University has a strong relationship with the ATCUAE, and the two organisations have recently established the Institute of Sport Research to develop and advance sporting knowledge in the UAE and abroad.
The General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare
The Authority is the supreme administrative body in all matters relating to the care of Youth Affairs and Sports for the residents of the United Arab Emirates. The Authority aims to achieve the governmental objectives regarding the care and development of young people, while maintaining socially, culturally and spiritually consistent with the principles of the Islamic religion and its moral values and goals.
The authority assists in the development of Arab and international relations through both cultural and youth activities, and sports, and is therefore a fantastic partner for the UAE Motorsport Star programme.
Dubai Sports Channel
Dubai Sports, a subsidiary of Dubai Media Incorporated, is the largest sports television network in the Emirate of Dubai. It is the aim of Dubai Sports to inform viewers from the UAE, and Arabic speaking world, of what is happening in the world of sport, covering both international and local sport. Dubai Sports are the television partner of UAE Motorsport Star.
UAE Higher Colleges of Technology
The system of the Higher Colleges of Technology is a community of more than 19,000 students and almost 2,000 staff based on 17 campuses throughout the United Arab Emirates - the largest higher education institution in the country. The HCT have established dynamic relationships with UAE companies and organizations, such as the ATCUAE, and the world's leading universities and organizations. The HCT are dedicated to the delivery of technical and professional programs of the highest quality to the students, within the context of sincere respect for diverse beliefs and values.
